Het is bijna Halloween! Daarom heb ik deze scary eye nail art gemaakt. Geïnspireerd door @nailsbycambria op Instagram. Ik vind dat ie heel goed is gelukt en hoop dat jullie het ook cool vinden 😉
It’s almost Halloween! I made this ‘scary eye’ nail art. (inspired by @nailsbycambria on Instagram) I’m so happy how this design turned out, I hope you like it too 😉
Wat heb je nodig? What you’ll need
- zwarte nagellak black nail polish
- witte nagellak white nail polish
- felgroene nagellak neon green nail polish
- felgele nagellak neon yellow nail polish
- striper striper
- basecoat & topcoat basecoat & topcoat
Begin met een basecoat. Vooral bij zwarte nagellak is een basecoat belangrijk, omdat je nagels anders heel erg verkleuren. Als dat droog is lak je je duim, wijsvinger en pink zwart en je middelvinger en ringvinger wit. De witte nagellak hoeft niet perfect te dekken, want er komen nog kleuren bovenop.
Start with a basecoat. This will protect your nails from staining. Especially when using a black polish in your design, basecoat is a must. When the basecoat’s dry, you can start painting your nails. Paint your thumb, indexfinger and pinkie black. The ring finger and middle finger are going to be white. The white polish doesn’t have to be completely opaque, because it’s a base for the green and the yellow.

The black nails are done! Now we’re gonna make the eyes.
Maak een gele streep in het midden van je nagels met daar omheen groen. Laat het een beetje in elkaar overlopen.
Make a yellow stripe in the middle of your nails and paint the outsides green.

Nu komt het moeilijkste deel. De ogen. Teken met de striper een diagonale lijn met daaronder een iets gebogen lijn. (zie foto) Kleur de randen in met zwarte nagellak en teken een pupil.
This’ll probably be the hardest part: the eyes. Use the striper to make a diagonal line and a curved line to make that eye shape. Fill the outsides with black nail polish and paint the pupils.
Nu is het een kwestie van geduld hebben 😉 Kijk tv of doe iets anders waar je je handen niet voor nodig hebt, want het moet HEEL goed drogen!
Now; be patient and watch tv or something, because it has to dry VERY well! 😉
